7-aza-2,3-indolyne
Today's C&N news describes synthesis of arenes (aromatic) rings containing triple bonds. The interesting nomenclature they use is 2,3-indolyne, where there is a triple bond between locants 2 and 3 on indole. The more correct/common name would be 2,3-didehydroindole which is understood by OPSIN, but I was thinking that 2,3-<arom_ring_parent>-yne is not an unreasonable trivial (unambiguous) alternative. I just thought that I'd mention it (it might only be a one or two line tweak to OPSIN).
