It has been a while since we received this feedback, and we can't conclude that this is due to the same root cause as https://github.com/damus-io/damus/issues/2293.

Should we email them back and ask if they are still having issues?

BTW, I am working on #2474 because it will provide this user (and other users) an easy way to solve this issue. So solving #2474 will likely solve this issue.

Descoping from 1.10 as:

  • we need more info from the user
  • this does not affect many users
  • we are very close to the 1.10 release
