I don't think this is a problem when you can have nested menus?

I think it makes sense to keep it simple with less options. For example temporarily mute for

1 day 1 week 1 month

I'd prefer 1 hour, 8 hours, 1 day, always

Mute forever > or 1 hour 1 day 1 week

Mute is just Mute, always, indefinitely, "forever, Laura"

a tap on the nested [ > ] button gives shorter time preference

Also the temporary mutes (mute for a day/a week/), don’t seem to work either
