Followmy.tv integration

Hello damienhaynes,

First, I want to thank you for your very usefull tool :) But I have a request: Is it possbile to use your tool to transfer my data from te website followmy.tv to trakt.tv? I used followmy.tv for years and it was a good website to save your watched episodes en Tv shows, but now the site doesn't update frequently anymore and there are problems with the used database.

So now I'm searching for an alternative and trakt.tv looks interesting. I think you will help a lot of users of followmy.tv if you add the functionality to transfer data from this website to trakt.tv

I hope that you can help the (many) users of followmy.tv that want to transfer their watched episodes to a good working website again :)

(PS: I'm not very familair with github, so I hope that my question is asked in the right place..)

I had a quick look at the site and could not see any export feature, do you know if any exist?

I also couldn't find any export feature. Is this necessary to make your tool working on this website?
I don't know wich techniques are used to make the website.

Do all your supported websites have export features?

The only other way would be an API, I just noticed this: http://followmy.tv/blog/10/followmy-tv-api-beta-programme-announcement

I will have to see if this is actually working as it was Beta back in 2012.

Only other way would be to scrape information which is not something I like to do as any changes to the site will break the app. It also wouldn't be something that the other site would like other apps doing.

@damienhaynes I understand that this job will take some time. But I think that you could help a lot of users of FollowmyTV if you can add a transfer functionality. Because on this moment we are stuck with our data on this website, and the website gets more and more problems with updating episodes and add new shows,...

I can tell you that the visual part of the website isn't changed since I started to use it (4-5 years ago) and I don't expect any changes at all anymore. The developers of the site say that they are working on a solution for the problems, but we didn't see any progress for a long time...

It used to be a very good site with a friendly crew and a simple interface. But I fear that they have given up on the website.. And in that case all the users of followmytv have the same problem and need to migrate to another site (with the data).

I'm also now leaving followmy.tv for trakt. Would have been nice to have an easy way to do it, luckily I rate my Series (not episodes) on IMDB so I could do that.
