The Example-based Sensor Predictions (ESP) system applies machine learning to real-time sensor data.

It might be nice to have a way to see warnings and errors on training data as you're navigating through the recorded samples, instead of just when the sample is...
Some set of user actions should probably clear the status message: e.g. switching tabs, adding a new training sample, editing actions, etc. Or maybe just any keyboard or mouse press?...
e.g. the speed at which its made, the range of motion it expresses, etc. There are lots of interactive projects where people want their systems to be able to understand...
So people writing code to receive it know what they're expecting.
Based on, for example, qualities of the MFCC coefficients over time.
The quintessential example is probably detecting the presence of an object in front of a light sensor in a way that works regardless of the ambient light in the room....
