VoltageShift Invalid unlock TDP upper limit

Open precise-calvin opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Hello, I'm sorry to take up your time My device is KBL (8550u) on Mac OS 12 In 3, I loaded the vlotageshift into the OpenCORE boot, and then set the permissions through the desktop file. I found that voltageshift does not work to improve TDP, but it is normal to use it to set the TDP upper limit of 5W, and it seems normal to resist low pressure. So I speculate whether the BIOS or other places have power consumption or temperature restrictions. Here is my screenshot, 162134550-21911c3f-4981-48c3-a079-13343b98b714-2

All the unlocking scripts that need to be run under windows have been run. My BIOS version is 0603. The machine can use XTU under windows to reduce voltage normally and increase TDP power consumption We look forward to your reply! Good luck.
