IDEA / Potential fix for poor camera quality

Hello all,

So with all the tele commuting I realised that my webcam is far worse than most in my i7 Notebook Pro. So i went looking for a solution and stumbled across https://phoboslab.org/log/2009/07/uvc-camera-control-for-mac-os-x . Seems to work great for my internal camera...unfortunately cannot select my external monitor cam using the tool.

I just wondered if it would be possible to incorporate this into the install or boot process. Seems like once corrected it works for me without needing to rerun every restart. Not sure if changing lighting environments affects this or not though.

Thoughts?

I just tested my camera and it seems the quality is the same as in Windows... Could you elaborate ?
