BatterySaver ends triggering P317E 000B EV/HEV Battery System EVC-249
Testing BatterySaver I repeatly have issue when the target SOC is reached. These are the steps:
- setup a Baterysaver percentage as in the manual
- plug charger
- start charger disabling charge programmer (e.g. chager right now)
- wait for reaching the target SOC
- charge ends correctly but: A) the three bluelight remain all turned on B) a DTC is trigered P317E 000B EV/HEV Battery System EVC-249
Side effect: detecting P317E prevent fast or slow charging => DTC clean procedure need to be performed
These is the triggered DTC and my installed firmware:
@westsince2001 sorry, in my case I hadn't time to do more investigation, especially because I do not have a reliable and cheap way to dump canbus under linux (I spent the few time that I've to find a solution) I could use the same canbrdige to do log, but this give processor overhead that can not garantee that some messages are skipped. @westsince2001 btw seems I'm the only one having this issue... do you have the same too?
the main problem of the issue is that this prevent next charge => a DTC clean have to be performed... probably can be added at the end of the process. This could be a solution... need these steps that have to be added to the enhancer code:
- can log of leafspy to get DTC list
- identify if a DTC P317E 000B is triggered
- can log of leafspy to clean the upper DTC
