Elastic Tabstops stopped working since np++ 8.3?
I refer to the 64 Bit version - since np++ 8.3 Elastic Tabstops is no more functional! Installed on np++ 8.2.1 or below, when updating to 8.3 or 8.3.3 the ET plugin is neither visible under Plugins Admin at tab Installed nor installable at tab Available. I checked the folder ElasticTabstops in the np++ plugins folder, everything is there as before, but np++ does not pay attentention to the plugin anymore, I had to downgrade to np++ 8.2.1 in order use it. Now I stick on 8.2.1.
Just found mention of this plugin. Looks like it'd solve an issue I have, but I too cannot use it in x64 8.3.3. My VS-fu isn't good enough. I did a clone, but couldn't get it to compile/
Cannot use it in 8.3.3. Is there an instruction to compile the source code for new np++?
Upvoted. This is exactly the plugin I need but it doesn't work in 8.3.3 x64. Please update.
Notepad++ has had quite a few compatibility issues with their API lately. And just recently another issue was pointed out which sounds like the explanation of the odd behavior I saw before attempting publishing a release recently.

Last time I saw it was doing anything at all, it was memory access violations :)
I am lost without this plugin... :-( Looking forward to when I will be working again!
The tags show there is a 1.4 being worked on. Any updates on when it might be ready?
@dail8859 could you provide link to new version of ElasticTabstops shown bellow. Thank you.
I downloaded a temp compiled copy. It works for current np++. It may have some problems, so it was not released. I share it here and hope it helps.

this works for me .. good timing for fix btw ..
The fix linked above works for me too. Worth to mention, that the new dll does not work with np++ 8.2.1 anymore, throwing an access violation, but if having completed the upgrade to np++ 8.4.5., the fixed version is functional and seems to be inconspicuous. Would be nice if the author published a new release though.
+1
The fix does not work anymore with np++ 8.4.6 😢
The fix works with np++ 8.4.6 on my side.
Thanks for letting me know. I reinstalled the fix, and now it works again.
