Automaker Polymer feeder is turning the opposite way
I recently purchased a ultimaker 2 plus and the first time I tried printing something by connecting my computer to the 3D printer via USB cable I was asked to do a firmware update. Once I did the update the feeder turns the opposite way. Instead of feeding polymer to the nozzle it turns the opposite way. Even when I tried to change the polymer the feeder turns the opposite way, it pushes polymer in when it is supposed to be retracting it and it retracts the polymer instead of pushing it towards the feeder.
When I first purchased the machine I printed several items from the models available on the SD card provided by the manufacturer. But after performing the update I cannot longer print anything because of the feeder.
I tried updating the firmware several times, but the result is the same.
SO, I am positive it was the update that messed up my machine, but I have no idea how to fix it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you by any chance put the Ultimaker2+ firmware on an Ultimaker2?
The Ultimaker2+ has a different feeder for which the motor needs to rotate the other way around.
