Feature request: warning/indication when deleting over multiple lines.
I am very happy using f,
to jump to the next comma on a line later in the file.
But when I do df,
and I was intending it to act on only one line, there is a danger (if there isn't a ,
on this line) that I will delete the rest of this line, and some of the next. And there is a danger, if I am not concentrating, that I won't notice I did it!
My suggestion then is to have an option that will warn the user when a delete or change action is happening over multiple lines.
This could be presented as an echoerr message. I'm not suggesting that we interrupt the user, but just give him some visual indication in case he is not aware of what just happened.
What do you think?
