UPDATE 3/21/14:
I've migrated this issue's content (and that from comments) over to a new whole repo for collaborating on this topics: https://github.com/daguar/etl-for-america
You, sir, have won the thread. It's done. Over.
Congratulations.
A Reading Section?
- including: http://digital.cityofchicago.org/index.php/how-a-table-becomes-a-dataset-openrefine/
Also this reminds me of: http://www.github.com/pdfliberation/
@maxogden's dat project looks very promising.
- cvskit is a suite of utilities for converting to and working with CSV, the king of tabular file formats.
- Reconcile-csv joins datasets with fuzzy matching.
- Data pipes provides fast (pre) viewing of CSV files in your browser (and you can share the result by just copying a URL).
Thanks all!
