adding links to headers?

I am glad I have an actual question because I was tempted to open an issue just to say thank you. This little plugin works so well and it's perfect for my needs. I love that it is agnostic and does not require particular md renderer. Thank you, really!

I am wondering if it's possible to links to the headers so that you can click and go back to the TOC. It would be very helpful on longer documents and similar to how footnotes would work.

And I would love to see beyond h2 as suggested before. I work with long documents with many subheaders.
