Could this issue be closed now that we are using `xarray`? What do you think @oyvindeide ?


What's a good test to run to check that this logs correctly? Don't need to add an assert I think, I just want to check it manually once.

Not sure, but gut feeling is to leave disk space management to the users and avoid adding extra complexity to ERT.

Not sure I understand the plot. From my understanding, there is only one observation and one or more responses. What does the left-hand side plot show?

Giving up on writing a test for this. Have manually tested and "Evaluate ensemble" looks like this after closing and re-opening ert:  ES-MDA also shows the correct active realizations:...
