Option to load GIF's differently

As it was, a GIF would load in a very slow jerky way, now they load as far as they have downloaded, then start over from the beginning. Both of these methods of loading are eye sores. Perhaps have an option to wait for the GIF to finish downloading, before displaying it.

You may be experiencing a bug in Firefox 26 itself (not Thumbnail Zoom Plus). 26 has a bug which sometimes even freezes the browser when loading animated gifs. It's fixed in Firefox Beta 27, scheduled to be released by Mozilla as the official version on Feb 4, and available now as a beta at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/ .

That would explain the freezes that have happened. I still think an option to wait for animated GIF's to finish downloading is a good idea.

Yes, perhaps an option to wait for anmated gifs to fully load would be a good option since it would ensure that the gif plays at full speed when it's first displayed. The drawback is that the user could be forced to wait a while before seeing anything (and the cost of adding an option is the effort to implement it and the added complexity having another option exposes to users).
