Heater and sensor point to another climate-entity

Hi, I want to use this integration to add some functionality to my existing (Tado) climate entities. Is it possible use the heater and sensor settings of another climate entity and then set up the presets and other options? I also saw Versitile Thermostat, but that is lacking some presets and having so much options I don't use I would rather just use this as an overlay over my existing climate entities.
