How do you use this script

Hello, apologies for not being in the know, i was searching for a way to do a custom simplified json export. And this popped up. Though i am confused how to use this, is this a script i import into aseprite. Or do i need to run it via command prompt? aseprite -b map.aseprite -script export.lua which this line would make me believe.

If that is the case, is it possible to replace the current json export, with a custom simplified version, if so i could maybe use this as a base to create my own script for that. https://community.aseprite.org/t/simplified-spritesheet-json/23387 i made a thread here recently about just that as well, tho i am new to aseprite scripting
