failed p2p transfer with status 0 (zero)

During data migration, we observed that some transfers contain the error message Transfer failed and replica is FROM_POOL despite status zero. Either the status code is wrong or the error message is incorrect.

This is 9.2.3, but I guess the issue present in master as well.
