fstat missing, actually path exists thats what i need

for some reason stat, fstat are commented out.

Have you tried turning it on again ? (couldn't resist). Seriously though if you uncomment and it works we can maybe bring it back , not sure why its commented out but I'm sure the reason will become apparent.
