Multithreading

I attempted to rewrite Gorilla from scratch with multithreading in mind a few weeks ago. However, I've noticed the project has been gaining traction, and a few contributors have already joined in. I'll leave this issue open in case someone wants to take on adding multithreading. If not, I'll open a pull request and work on it myself.
