How things works

User data saved locally with localStorage API

Once the page is loaded, the pre-rendered version of all enabled widgets is instantly displayed on screen

Favicons are retrieved from

• Kiwi Browser's server (https://logos.kiwibrowser.com/ - No analytics, no logs, no identifier to send).
• or user can add custom links for favicons

News are fetched from a proxy server of Kiwi Browser

Setup Extension on Kiwi Browser

• Download .crx or .zip
• Go to Settings>Home Page and set to "chrome://newtab"
