1️⃣ Describe the feature
Suggestion: Hi there! Would it be possible to add an optional setting: "Automatically jump to the first image of the next folder (sorted by name) when reaching the last image of the current folder" (disabled by default)?
Key Advantages:
Smoother Workflow: When organizing or viewing images stored in separate folders (e.g., travel photos sorted by date), this would allow seamless transitions like flipping through an album, eliminating the need to repeatedly exit to the folder list. Intuitive Alignment: Matches the sorting logic of system file explorers, requiring virtually no user learning. Balanced Flexibility: As an opt-in feature, it serves users who need continuous browsing while preserving the current single-folder experience. If technically feasible, we'd greatly appreciate this addition in a future update. Thank you for your consideration!
2️⃣ How to use feature
Steps to Activate
- Go to Settings → Browsing (or similar tab)
- Check "Jump to next folder after the last image" (disabled by default)
- Optional: Set "Folder sorting rule" (e.g., by name/date, ascending/descending)
- Save settings to apply during image viewing
