GIF speed is apperently wrong

Open Hashda119 opened this issue 7 months ago • 5 comments

System information

  • Windows OS version: Win 11
  • ImageGlass version: 9.2.0.1208 (64-bit)
  • ImageGlass release: Store / Classic? sorry i don't know

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. open a GIF file

Actual behavior

the speed of the gif is not what it should be, faster or slower, it looks like just play each image, and the speed is different from Microsoft image viewer or display in PPT

Expected behavior

the gif speed should depend on the file, if i use tools transform the .mp4 file to .gif file, the speed will not change, and, a gif ouput from a 60fps video and a gif ouput from a 20fps video, these two gifs should have same speed and they really are same in Microsoft image veiwer, that means Microsoft is correct, but if i use image glass, they have diffrent speed, the 60fps gif is very slow in image glass and it is apperently wrong.

I've had this problem more often than not, with files playing at like double or triple the speed they should be.

Using Version: 9.3.2.520 (64-bit) but its something I've been seeing for over a year.

I pasted two gif here, they are generated from the same vedio with different FPS, one is the 30 FPS with the vedio and the other is 20 FPS, the online tool for generating gif from mp4: https://onlineconvertfree.com/zh/convert/mp4/

they have the same speed in Microsoft Power Point, but in imageGlass they display in different speed
