Need to improve display speed

Currently imageglass display images noticeably slower than other image viewers. (like Win11 Photos App, Faststone Viewer, etc) viewing a 64MP photo, it takes several seconds to fully display it.

+100! I was about to report this issue, but i see it's already here. Older versions were noticeably faster. Please make IG fast again.

Yeah I've reported the same issue before aswell. Earlier versions of v8 were much faster.

It's a lot slower with PSDs too. Gif playback has been reported to be slower than version 8 aswell.

I'm considering going back to version 8 because of it.

yes,it's slower than before,and when i switch picture quickly cpu is hot
