A better way to rotate the image？by exif, metadata or others?

The problem of image file size extremely grow up caused by image rotation has been alleviated, but still unsatisfactory. Now, in IG, the rotation solution change the metadata of image without exif tag, which raises several confusion.

1.The rotare image file size still grow larger than other software(such as, windows picture app).

2.The rotare image without exif tag and the thumbnail of rotated image in file explorer are still not rotated. (I don't know if these two problems are related.)

Describe the solution you'd like

The rotation solution of windows picture app gives the rotation image an exif tag and the file size grow up is smaller than IG, also the thumbnail of rotated image in file explorer are rotated, which are same as the real images.

I would like the IG image rotation solution is more similar to windows picture app.

see the screenshot in file explorer, 1,2,3 are the origin images which are not rotated, 4,5,6 are the IG rotated images, but the thumbnail of origin images and rotated images are same, i can't know if the image has been rotated by looking at the thumbnail， 7,8,9 are the windows picture app rotation images, the thumbnail are the same as rotated images.

the file size of origin images are 66.8k, 98.6k and 34.8k; the file size of IG rotation images are 154k, 238k and 69.4k; the file size of windows picture app rotation images are 71.2k, 104k and 38.6k.

which means IG doesn't dominate in file size or thumbnail display in the rotation images, so that I submit this feature request. Thanks.
