my Growl Voice has died again Using OS X 10.11 DP 2

I am using the new El Capitan DP2. Growl Voice is no longer logging in for me.

I am getting a Sign in error: The operation couldn't be completed. (come.google.com.HTTPStatus error 404)

That doesn't seem to be the same error that I used to be getting but am not sure if I did something wrong or if GV just doesn't like the El Capitan update.

Boot into recovery mode and disable System Integrity Protection (from the Utilities menu). DP2 has begun enforcing code injection restrictions.

EDIT: never mind — the 404 error means Google broke things again, and it will not work at all.

So, is this simply an authentication issue? The app would still work if we were able to log in?
