Feature request: Rich text style to be toggled before writing

I do not know if it is possible, but there is a behaviour that I really like about the Zim note taking application that I would love to see in a qt app.

In order to change rich text styles like bold, or italic, most applications I used so far apply changes after the text has been typed. For what I have seen testing quentier, it has the same behaviour.

What I find very handy with zim, is that you can hit ctrl+b without any text typed or highlighted, and it toggles a 'bold mode' so that everything you type then is bold. Hitting the shortcut again toggles off this mode, and text is back to normal style.

I find both behavior very useful, and not mutually exclusive. I hope you will consider if at all possible. Thank you for making a qt note taking application, and please always keep a local storage mode )

Thank you for the suggestion. It should be possible although it surely won't be a trivial thing to do. If anyone with development skills would like to take on this task, please be my guest.
