I am not sure if you have seen this but this can be set up as an autopublish package. See https://github.com/MeteorCommunity/discussions/issues/14.

Hi there... Sorry for the intrusion ;-)

To get the package autopublished we'd actually need to propose an official integration to the original repo... And after this we'd better publish it under another name like materialize:materialize-css or similar and this repository won't be needed anymore..

Let me know if you're interested about this.
