As far as I can tell the delay is barely noticeable. But the experience may vary in virtual machines and older hardware. Hm, that's really unfortunate. On first glance it looks like an upstream issue with `flutter_markdown`.
Thanks for your report! It seems like there was a temporary outage in the snap ecosystem, which should be resolved by now. We clearly need better error handling here, though!
