openHAB 3 / 4 any plans?

Hi, I just installed openHAB on Mac to play around cause I read that RFLINK would be supported. But it seems not for V3 or 4. Right? As I dont use Eclipse, I already failed with building in IDEA ... it needs a couple of other dependencies. As I see, the architecture of OH now depends on Karaf on top of OSGi, I'd be interested when we might have a .KAR plugin ready to deploy ... It's just about controlling some blinds and shutters in the office with the gateway from NODO.nl.
