"Find in my Home Instance" doesn't work

I have set my home instance to https://alx.lemmy.blahaj.zone. When viewing a lemmy post on lemmy.world, clicking that link in the sidebar does nothing. I can find this manually in my home instance, but the button injected from the extension does nothing when clicked.

I am on firefox latest, I have disabled ublock and noscript, and this has worked for me in the past.

It looks like it does work if I remove alx. from the home instance URL, but the post is valid and accessible from the alx. subdomain so I don't know what's going wrong. Here's the link to the post in my home instance:

https://alx.lemmy.blahaj.zone/lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/29443560

Note that there's an additional /lemmy.blahaj.zone/ in that URL. Navigating to the home page of the instance without that 2nd bit still works. However, if I wanted to enter the full URL with the 2nd .zone section in the extension, it says "Settings could not be saved, see errors for details."
