Not a high priority, but I am creating this issue now to move the work from #81 (to be closed) here.

Also introducing the gant chart:

  • In live mode view projcted workflow timings.
  • In anlysis mode view averaged timings for resource planning.

  • Show dependencies to help suite developers identify bottlenecks.
  • Show future cycles (using average job time perhaps with error bars) for basic Cylc forecasting.
  • Task collapsing (same as graph, tree, dot views)

Screenshot Tim took of the Prefect GUI's equivalent of the Gantt view. Not the prettiest, but the inclusion of dependencies is interesting.
