ENTER/RETURN not taken in right click paste

I have to press ENTER to execute a command after right click paste, it should ACCEPT 'return' key from the paste if it was copied. How do I configure it?

Under Window -> Selection there is a tick box with the heading "Permit control characters in pasted text", does enabling that give you the required functionality?
