Window getting focus auto after SSH password sent

Open Media182 opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

On Win10 when loggin over SSH I have annoying issue:

  1. I enter password manually or use automatic password
  2. Switch to some other window while slow connection in process
  3. Window getting focus automatically when SSH console shown and server send some lines like "Last login: Mon Nov 29 12:45:48 2021"

This is really annoying when logging to 2+ servers and switching the windows to get next SSH details.

I've downloaded latest 0.76.0.2p standalone version, removed old kitty.ini, played with Bell options - nothing helps to avoid auto focus stealing.

Also on Windows 10. That is easy enough to re-produce. Start a session, click on "Duplicate Session", then click back into the original session. The new session, then gets the focus when it completes the connecton. Also I noticed that when I put the mouse into another session and move the wheel then that screen, which does not have the focus, scrolls.

I am running into this too with the latest KiTTY releases. I haven't been able to figure out a workaround either.

"Also I noticed that when I put the mouse into another session and move the wheel then that screen, which does not have the focus, scrolls." This is a Window 10 feature? Seems to me to be the case, as I realised I can get the same behaviour with other programmes.
