Render linear traffic_calming=table
We currently render traffic_calming
features tagged on points, after #5.
However, we miss the linear traffic_calming=table
which are becoming more and more used. These could probably be rendered using "shark teeths" symbols at high zooms at the beginning and end of the table.
Still, some of them would probably have a weird render, such as the one with a T form. This is typically the case of
https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/626982730 and https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/626982732.
Any ideas?
At http://blog.imagico.de/the-way-of-the-water/ @imagico describes how he renders beautiful water dams and such which fit the given road width at the given zoom level. I think the traffic_calming-features could be rendered using this as an inspiration.
At the bottom of the post there is the link to https://github.com/imagico/osm-carto-alternative-colors/tree/alternative-colors which probably includes the rendering code.
Idea: render them like we do for living_street, with wider casing ?
