Does Meteor Lake support SR-IOV graphics virtualization?

SR-IOV Graphics Virtualization Support on Meteor Lake

The requirements state that Intel SR-IOV graphics virtualization works on Intel generations starting with Alder Lake. While both ADL and RPL work fine, there seems to be a problem with MTL (14th Gen Core). The Intel graphics driver running in the guest reports error 43 and does not load.

I have tested the recommended linux-intel-lts kernel and also the i915-sriov-dkms module with the same error. It looks like both projects have already noticed this issue:

Is there a known workaround to get it to work on MTL or is the virtualization currently only supported on ADL and RPL?
