problem with MZ-NH1
recorder is recognized an NetMD/HiMD - good but when i write tracks to NetMd medium it writes track, then jump full speed (laser) to TOC and then full speed to next sektor for writing next track. it generates a lot of noise and maybe damages the units drive. does anyone have this issue too ? on sonicstage it works normal.
I don't believe this is specific to the NH1 as all of my NetMD portables do this.
I have noticed that the door lock actuator engages when writing a track using WMD and disengages again at the end of writing that one track. This could be potentially problematic long term since the door should only really lock and unlock after writing a full set of tracks like how SonicState does it (as well as TOC entry once tracks are written only at the end).
I would like to see this changed in future, since I am concerned with how much unnecessary wear is being put onto these motors/laser during the burning process using WMD.
@sgsracer256 @chonkusZZ This behavior has been changed to that of SonicStage. Now the door is locked (and the writing head is lowered, since these two actions are joined together) when you start transferring tracks, and unlocked when all the tracks had been transferred.
