ROMS launching into RetroArch not the game

I've installed my ROMS for Game Boy trying to get them to load through the VitaLauncher as opposed to having to go into retroarch. However when I click to load a ROM it merely loads me into RetroArch as opposed to starting correctly. Any idea what I can do to address this issue?

@dr3vvzy You need RetroArch v1.9.1 or greater.
