'can't save screenshot' persists – help?

hi! sorry to ask. Not sure where to turn. If you have a moment, great! If this is in the way and/or polluting the issues, I wouldn't take offense if you deleted it, though i would first appreciate your assistance identifying a means by which I might resolve the issue on this Samsung running Android. I think it was my attempt to limit Google and Samsung et al. from continuing to surveil the use of my phone in march that led to something that now disallows the taking of screenshots. I downloaded this program in hopes it would help me get around the problem, but no luck. I've put hours into trying to restore access / fiddle with settings and permissions and whatever else, but still get a "Couldn't save screenshot" notification (saying within the notification box, "can't save screenshot"). it appears to be true. I'm not a developer, and would love it if you could help!! I have an unusual interest in taking them as part of a project I care about.
