Can cvxpylayers be used within MATLAB?

Can cvxpylayers be used within MATLAB? To my knowledge, CVX can already be called directly from MATLAB, and the MATLAB Deep Learning Toolbox also supports automatic differentiation. I am therefore wondering whether it would be feasible to develop a MATLAB-specific version of cvxpylayers. Such a tool would be highly valuable for researchers and practitioners in the control community.

I'm not sure if it would be possible, it depends on what features CVX has and I've never used CVX.
