For me Intellij isn't recognizing cbt (or i'm lucking on the wrong place). (OS X, 2017.3.1. EAP, Scala Plugin 2017.3.704)

Highlights from Gitter:

  • CBT integration works in Scala plugin nightlies until 2017.3.603. Downloads page download link

    • Import project from existing sources > Select CBT model

    • Make sure a path to CBT executable is set in IntelliJ settings:

    • You may need to "refresh" the project:

      • Open CBT tool window

      • "refresh" project

  • seems to work in IntelliJ 2017.3 and 2017.3.1 EAP

  • it should be in non-nightly release soon

Hm. I don't get the any of the cbt settings, tool windows etc. But maybe it will just work in the future

@fabianpage I tried a few versions of IJ and the Scala plugin before I saw it work, mostly because I didn't understand exactly what versions I needed. I believe that if you run IJ 2017.3 and Scala plugin nightly 2017.3.603, then you'll magically see the settings and have the support.

What versions are you trying? I see above you mentioned Scala plugin 2017.3.704; that is known not to have the support, afaiu.

@ryan-williams I'm running IJ 2017.3.1 RC and Scala Plugin 2017.3.714 nightly on OS X. So i need to use an older scala plugin?

@ryan-williams if i go back to 2017.3.603 cbt is working. I have read the until wrong ... sorry.

Is the cbt support removed after 603?

Yea I did a double-take about that too. No idea why the support goes away after 603, @darthorimar could presumably give more context

This discussion happened on gitter a few weeks ago; search for recent comments by @jastice, but to summarize, there were a few too many CBT plugin issues to pass JetBrains' metrics, I believe, so they are working on making an incubator plugin system (or a separate plugin).
