Latex: Wrong behavior of embrace-delete when curly bracket closes the line

If encountered a bug, that occurs if the last character of the line in a latex document is a curly bracket.

What did you expect to happen? I expected embrace to delete the closest matching textobject.

What actually happened? If confuses the brackets, interprets the whole line as a text object and deletes the wrong bracket (the one at the end).
