Data not updating automatically, updates on integration reload

Open seven7seven opened this issue 10 months ago • 3 comments

Component did not update new episode despite episodes being available.

After reading the integration new episodes were correctly detected - I'm assuming an error with polling or updates not triggering for whatever reason.

Latest HASS, card works fine it's just data doesn't update unless I reload integration.

Thanks!

Hi @seven7seven sorry for the late response. There are no known reproducable bugs in this integration related to the issue you're facing. When was the last time it was working for you? It is best to restore from backup from a point when it was working. If it never worked correctly, it is best to restore from back anyway from before you tried to first install it and try again from scratch. That is probably the easiest way to get it working as expected.

If you have access to \config\custom_components\sonarr_upcoming_media folder via SSH, you can also just delete that folder completely, restart Home Assisstant and install the integration again.

Please let me know how it goes.

@seven7seven I'm getting the same - thought I had solved it when re-configuring the integration but it started doing it again. I've ow set up an automation to reload the integration every morning at 6am so I don't notice the issue now.

Sorry guys, there isn't really anything for me to adjust or fix in respect to this issue. I don't have any way to reproduce it.

I'm experiencing the same issue. The series episodes just refresh whenever I reload the integration. I'm using HA version 2025.4.2 and the latest version of the integration.

@beped and all, thank you for your patience. I believe @Makhuta has a Fix #45 for this. I need to test it first to make sure it didnt break anything that was working before. I will update this integration with this fix in the next day or 2 if everything is okay. I will let you know so you can test for me to confirm if this update fixes the issue or not.

@seven7seven @the-jeffski @beped please wait for version 0.4.4 to be available on HACS and download/update it. Hopefully, the latest changes will prevent this issue. Please don't forget to restart Home Assitant after updating this integration to 0.4.4.

Let me know if version 0.4.4 fixes this issue.

Turned off my automation that was fixing this, left it 48 hrs and checked and success! All fixed.
