Entity icon shows eye instead of defined icon

When using for example battery entity with manually assigned entity class (in my case a MQTT sensor), the icon of eye is shown instead of the battery icon.

I've just noticed this issue too. Weirdly it is only for my ESPHome sensors:

The icons are set for the entities and do show up in other cards.

Same here, all entities are defined the same way but only one shows the correct icon:

Same here, i get the eye-symbol in the bar-chart but when clicking on it, the entity-details show the correct one (aqara multisensor via zigbee2mqtt)
