Stopped displaying songs, delay in starting

It normally starts within a few seconds and displays the songs being played, as normal. But now it doesn't start for a minute and doesn't display songs either.

new install fresh kali vm, all updates applied. install vector via npm, using mplayer under the hood. seems to be a 60-90sec delay in audio playback, and no updating playlist after playback begins. conversely to the above, rockymadden/somafm-cli seemed to work. ┌──(kali㉿kali)-[~/sfmcli/somafm-cli-master/build/bin] └─$ ./somafm listen defcon 01:42:27 | MG - Spiral 01:46:05 | SomaFM DropIn - Joe Grand & Zoz: Bagels 01:46:11 | Bandshell - A2.
