hey @ghost @Langholt yes it can be done! you just need to avoid disabling audio (dtparam) and loading the DAC overlay (dtoverlay) during configuration

Hi @scls19fr - balena-sound is definetely better-maintained and stable, and the plan for boombeastic is to eventually become the hardware part only that runs balena-sound. Feature parity is not achieved...
