Support for custom note ID
It would be awesome when making a note, to be able to set a custom note ID. Like https://url.com/note/customIDofnote.
This would be easy to pass along to a colleague or friend by phone or something.
And set a custom password i assume then? Not sure how i feel about this one. If security is not an issue, you could still use an url shortener, or a custom password and shorten the url. I think I don't see enough value in the feature, but I'm ready to be convinced otherwise :) Thanks for bringing up still :)
It would be great to have a mode with a shorter URL. Like maybe 8-10 characters after /note/. Use case would be in situations where you connect to another machine and the connection doesn’t support pasting. A short URL could be used in those cases. I see that the content might not be as protected as with the longer URL. But that’s a trade-off that I can live with for those situations.
