Font Colors uses custom css for its formatting; can we have an option to turn this off?

The way that the colours under Font Colors displays uses custom table css. So the Font Colours are displaying weirdly because it is formatting almost as a table would in my vault.

Without table css enabled (i.e. what I want back):

With table css enabled (i.e. what I don't want):
