Backporting Policy

Problem

As version v1.4 was declared as long-term support (LTS) release, our goal is to remain on this version for stability. However, the new cache control feature is broken in v1.4, see https://github.com/cube-js/cube/pull/10162 .

  • Are there plans to backport this specific bugfix to the v1.4 LTS branch?
  • Could you clarify the general policy regarding backporting non-security fixes to LTS versions? This would help us better plan our upgrade strategy.
