attempt to reduce amount of boards created
some ideas:
- before creating a board, run a search in existing board URIs and titles, try to give user suggestions for boards that already exist
- stress that users should check if a board for their topic already exists
- limit amount of boards that can be created (per day/ever?)
- on that note, I don't think board creation is restricted if you're banned globally
- remind users that their board will be deleted if inactive
- let users set the board to unlisted at time of creation

"on that note, I don't think board creation is restricted if you're banned globally"
should be, we do call checkBan('*');
I'll answer the rest in the morning
@wowaname yes, but some hard limit should be in place to prevent blatant abuse
is there any way the board list can be made a little more user friendly? as it stands now we scroll down a massive (and ever growing) list with some of the more popular boards at the top...would it be possible to separate the top 50 boards and maybe put the rest of the list in alphabetical order? i've tried several times to check out all the boards (no chance of that happening now) but if i didn't bookmark an interesting board i found, trying to find it again on the list is next to impossible
